In the book of Acts we see the birth and growth of Christ's Kingdom on earth, the church. The church is formed and established on the Gospel ministry of the apostles through the power of the Holy Spirit. In Acts we see who the church is supposed to be: a Gospel community committed to the Great Commission (to be disciples who make disciples) and the Great Commandment (loving God with all our being and loving others as Jesus loves us). Christ, His Gospel, and His Word are the center and foundation of everything the church is about. Churches must be on Gospel mission in their communities and Acts shows us what this should look like.
Do They Even Know Who We Are?
